Over the last six months, we scoured the world for the best startups. The Challenge Cup took us to 16 cities in 11 countries, and led us to more than 70 finalists. 

From May 11 to May 16, those startups will compete right here in Washington, D.C. for final prizes totaling more than $650,000. 

It’s all part of Challenge Festival, our weeklong celebration of innovation -- and the culmination of the Challenge Cup competition. Presented in partnership with Philips, we’ll highlight disruptive thinkers, and showcase highly scalable companies from around the globe that are tackling seemingly insurmountable problems and improving the lives of millions.
